Helen June Strehle, 89, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday December 4, 2011 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday December 8, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Dwight Barker officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. June was born February 28, 1922 in Greenbottom, WV a daughter of the late Hezekiah & Lilly Benedict Lawrence. She was a member of the Sixth Ave. Church of Christ and attended New Life Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter Vickie Lynn Shannon, one sister Frances Dudding & one brother James Lawrence. Survivors include one daughter Linda Ferrell of Chesapeake, OH, one son Frederick W. Strehle, Jr. of Bloomington, IN, 6 grandchildren Megan, Erik & Alex Strehle of TN, Tammy Roberts of Bowling Green, KY, Hanna Cain of South Point, OH, & Kimberly Blankenship of Becky, WV, 5 great grandchildren Justin Roberts, Alexis & Mekayla Cain, Darien Zickefoose, & Allison Blankenship, 4 brothers, & 3 sisters.
