Anna Mae S. McComas
(July 23, 1921 - December 26, 2011)



Anna Mae S. McComas, 90, born July 23, 1921 went to her eternal home in Jesus on Monday December 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, TJ ."Bub" and Rachael Spurlock; her husband of twenty-five years, Kenneth W. McComas; her daughter, Sherry Estep; siblings, Ramona Blake, Alfred Spurlock, Jack Spurlock; and a special friend Marion Reed Sr. She is survived by her son, David A. McComas, wife Brenda and eight grandchildren, Douglas McComas, Matthew McComas, Tara McComas (Terry) Farren, Jeanette Estep (Jeff) Boster, Kelly Estep (John) Fleck, Frankie (Cindy) Estep, Kenny (Amy) Estep, and Jeremy (Elena) Estep. Mae also left behind twenty-two great-grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Virginia Holland and Luella Hughes. She retired from Owens-Illinois after thirty-three years of service. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington. She loved people and she will be missed by many more family and friends than has been named here. The family wishes to express special thanks to her caregivers, Hazel Young, Paula Collins, Sabrina Morrison and her granddaughter Tara Farren. Visitation will be observed Thursday December 29, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday December 30, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary by Pastor Kenny Estep (her grandson) & Dallas Moore. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in her name.
