Keith Allen Gallaher
(August 20, 1928 - December, 17, 2011)


Keith Allen Gallaher, 83, of Huntington, WV, husband of Sauline McGinnis Gallaher, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Rev. Mark A. Kloha officiating. Burial with military graveside rites conducted by Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Keith was born August 20, 1928 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late James and Blanche Holderby Gallaher. He was the youngest of 13 children and his 12 siblings have preceded him in death. He was retired from Houdaille Industries as a dye and tool machinist and a supervisor. Keith was a member of American Legion Post 16, Huntington, and was very active with his church, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed outdoor activities and gardening. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter, Mary Martha Costa of Huntington; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Allen and Linda Gallaher, and Keith Edward Gallaher, all of Huntington; three grandchildren, Selena Marie Johe and husband, Jim Johe, Keith Allen Gallaher II, and wife, Sarah Gallaher, and Michael Thomas Gallaher, all of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Nell Vass Gallaher of Huntington; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
