Robert Louis Williams
(August 5, 1932 - December 9, 2011)

Robert Louis Williams, 79, of Huntington, husband of Marianne Muskera Williams, passed away Friday December 9, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday December 13, 2011 in the Gallery of Fellowship Baptist Church at 2661 U.S. Route 60 at Mall Road, Barboursville, WV 25504. He was born August 5, 1932 in Beckley, WV, a son of the late George and Lucy Lovell Williams. Other family that preceded him in death were, his first wife of 51 years, Mary Long Williams; and a sister Janet Scarbo. Robert retired from the State of West Virginia as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and then started Counseling and Assessment, his own private counseling business. He graduated from West Virginia University, received a master’s degree from Marshall University and also attended University of Kentucky. He attended the Universal Unitarian Congregation for many years. In addition to his wife survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Rick Mullins of Hurricane, WV; a son, James Williams also of Hurricane; two grandchildren, Tyler Mullins of Milton, and Luke Mullins of Hurricane; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruth and Reese Boone of Tulsa, OK, and Leslie Sannon of Palm Desert, CA; and a brother and sister-in-law, George and Barbara Williams of Green Sulphur Springs, WV. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
