Larry Eugene Tucker
(January 2, 1943 - December 10, 2011)


Mr. Larry Eugene Tucker, 68, of Huntington, husband of Norma Jean Halstead Tucker, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was a retired Machinist with C.S.X.. Huntington Shops, and a long time member of River Cities Community Church. He was born January 2, 1943 in Huntington, a son of the late Wilson and Maxine Dillon Tucker. Also preceding him in death is a son, Gregory Eugene Tucker and a sister Linda Wray. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters and a son-in-;law, Kinberly Lynn Fight, of Wheelersburg, OH, and Tara and Mike Crowder of Huntington; 3 brothers Richard Tucker, Robert (Sharon) Tucker, and Billy Tucker all of Huntington; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Tucker, of Wilmington, NC; 5 grandsons, Brandon Morris of Huntington, Ethan Fight and Dustin (Tater) Fight, both of Wheelersburg, Chase Lindsey and Logan Crowder, both of Huntington; 2 step grandchildren, Carl Runyon of Proctorville, OH and Heather Fowler of Wilmington, NC; 3 great grandsons and a great granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at River Cities Community Church, with Pastor Larry Greene officiating.. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2011 and after noon Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the church.
