Raymond Perry
(October 21, 1927 - December 28, 2011)



Raymond Perry, 84, of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 28, 2011 with his family by his side. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 31, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Bro Ray Williamson. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Raymond was born October 21, 1927 in Barboursville, WV a son of the late Albert Galatin & Cora Maude Cyrus Perry. He was an Automatic Transmission Specialist working at the former Gallagher Ford and retiring from the City of Huntington. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Phylis Jeannine Perry and great granddaughter Makayla Paige Rice. Survivors include two daughters & sons-in-law Alvaretta & Van Bradshaw & Kimberly & Les Bradshaw all of Huntington, two sons & daughters-in-law Michael & Diann Perry of Charles Town, WV & Christopher & Alyshia Perry of Huntington, five granddaughters Johnna Leffingwell, Robyn Cazad, Jaimee Jones, Anjela Rice & Sidney Grace Perry, one grandson Skyler Jayden Perry, six great grandchildren Cameron Tyler Rice, Caleb Allen & Joshua Aaron Leffingwell, Jordan Levi & Lola Grace Cazad and Jacob Dylan Sturgeon, and his three sisters. Military Graveside Rites by Veterans Honor Guard Post 16. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday December 30, 2011.
