Raymond Perry, 84, of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 28, 2011 with his family by his side. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 31, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Bro Ray Williamson. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Raymond was born October 21, 1927 in Barboursville, WV a son of the late Albert Galatin & Cora Maude Cyrus Perry. He was an Automatic Transmission Specialist working at the former Gallagher Ford and retiring from the City of Huntington. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Phylis Jeannine Perry and great granddaughter Makayla Paige Rice. Survivors include two daughters & sons-in-law Alvaretta & Van Bradshaw & Kimberly & Les Bradshaw all of Huntington, two sons & daughters-in-law Michael & Diann Perry of Charles Town, WV & Christopher & Alyshia Perry of Huntington, five granddaughters Johnna Leffingwell, Robyn Cazad, Jaimee Jones, Anjela Rice & Sidney Grace Perry, one grandson Skyler Jayden Perry, six great grandchildren Cameron Tyler Rice, Caleb Allen & Joshua Aaron Leffingwell, Jordan Levi & Lola Grace Cazad and Jacob Dylan Sturgeon, and his three sisters.
