Frances Niday
(November 5, 1922 - December 18, 2011)


Frances Niday, 89, of Barboursville, WV, died Sunday, December 18, 2011. Graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Spring Hill Cemetery. Frances was born November 5, 1922 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Olive Wagner. She retired from the admitting department at St. Mary’s Hospital. Her husband Floyd Lee Niday, Jr, one son Dale Rodney Niday, one daughter Tamara Lee Mercer, two brothers Clinton and Leroy Wagner and one sister Rosemary Behueller preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son Mark Allen Niday of Barboursville, four grandchildren Andrew and Sean Mercer of Columbus, OH, Todd Niday and Jessica Adkins of Barboursville, Paige Niday Shelton and husband Michael of Louisville, KY; nine great grandchildren; her son-in-law Tim Mercer of Columbus; and a sister-in-law Salley Wagner of Naples, FL. Friends may call from 1:00 until 1:45 PM Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington, when the funeral procession will leave for the cemetery.
