Dora Jean Lemon
(May 19, 1940 - December 26, 2011)



Dora Jean Lemon, 71, of Huntington, WV, died Monday December 26, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside funeral service will be conducted 12:30 PM Thursday December 29, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Brother Dallas Wilson officiating. Dora was born May 19, 1940 in Emerson, KY, a daughter of the late Charlie & Berchia M. Gilliam Rose. She was a retired cook from the Cabell County Board of Education and a member of Christ Temple. Survivors include her daughter Monica Lemon Shafer of South Point, OH, two precious grandsons Josh Shafer of South Point & Davey Shafer of Crosslanes, WV, several cousins including special cousins Robert E. Maddix of Lexington, KY & Nancy Johnson of Forest, VA, She would like to thank Pam, Lucky, & Jr. & Debbie Lemon for all their help and a special thanks to Lester Williams & Garden Park Apartments. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 11:30 AM until 12:15 PM Thursday when the funeral procession will leave for the cemetery.
