Frank William Brodtrick, Jr.
(March 9, 1932 - January 20, 2011)



Frank William Brodtrick, Jr., 78, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday January 20, 2011 in the Emogene Dolen Jones Hospice House. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday January 24, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Frank was born March 9, 1932 in Little Rock, AR, a son of the late Frank William & Elizabeth Murray Brodtrick. He retired in 1989 from the former INCO Alloys, Inc & was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Dorothy Edwards, Kathleen Hatch & Margaret Foster. Survivors include his wife Carol Campolio Brodtrick, two daughters; Beth Brodtrick Roof & husband Chad of Charlotte, NC, & Kristin Brodtrick Simms & husband Matthew of Davie, Fl., three sons; Frank "Butch" William Brodtrick of Huntington, Richard L. Brodtrick of Safety Harbor, Fl., Sean "Buzz" Brodtrick & wife Stephanie of Nashville, Tn., three grandchildren; Grace Carol & Ethan Matthew Simms of Davie & Jacob Roof of Charlotte, one sister; Juanita "Tiny" Moser & husband Raymond of Huntington, and one brother; Larry & Linda Brodtrick of Barboursville. The family with deepest gratitude would like to thank all the friends and neighbors who loved and cared for him and the family during his illness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
