Leroy Morgan Moore

Leroy M. Moore, 85, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Minister Russ Jordan officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 9738. He was born October 17, 1925 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late Guy C. and Gusta Ferguson Moore. A daughter, Colleen Webb, and a sister, Ruth Ferguson, also preceded him in death. He was retired from INCO; was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; and was a member of Guyandotte Church of Christ and VFW Post 9738. Survivors include: his wife, Betty L. Hager Moore; a son, Warren L. Moore of Huntington; and a grandson, Ryan Webb of Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25702.
