William Edward “Ed” Chapman, 68, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, formerly of Huntington, beloved husband of Sharon Reed Chapman, passed away January 4, 2011. He was born November 14, 1942 in Huntington, WV a son of the late William and Alice Conard Chapman of Huntington. He was retired from Phillip Morris, USA, Richmond, VA. Additional survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Larissa Chapman of Richmond, VA, Greg and Ilka Chapman of Bealeton, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kirk Nelson of Naples, Italy; grandsons, Cole Nelson and William Chapman; granddaughters, Taylor, Alexis, and Zoey Chapman, and Peri Nelson; nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends. Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday March 22, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Charles Ferguson, Jr., officiating. Inurnment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 12:30 PM until service time Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
