Anna Marie Herrenkohl Lewis

Anna Marie Herrenkohl Lewis, 68, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, of Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Lesage, passed away Thursday January 27, 2011 in Parkersburg, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Sunday January 30, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Carl Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Herrenkohl Cemetery, Lesage, with Stan Herrenkohl, Thomas McComas, Sean Cary, Shannon Lewis, Mark Chapman, and Pat Carter serving as pallbearers. She was born November 2, 1942 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Raymond Doyle and Mary Francis Thornburg Herrenkohl. She was a wonderful homemaker, and enjoyed being very involved with youth sports at the time when her boys were participating. Survivors include her husband of over 50 years; Freddie L. Lewis of Parkersburg; three sons, Hugo Lewis and wife, Cathy, of Matthews, NC, Darrick Lewis and Carrie White of Huntington, and J.D. Lewis and Ellen Jaquett of Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren, Brandon Lewis, Patricia Lewis Attaberry, Zacary Lewis, Chris Shaw, Justin White, and Caleb White; two great grandchildren, Jaxon Attaberry and Addison Lewis; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Carolyn Herrenkohl of Martha, WV. Friends may call 7:00-9:00 PM Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary.
