Obituary
Mary
Louise Withrow
(November 20, 1928 - January 25, 2011)
Mary Louise
(McLaughlin) Withrow, age 82, widow of William Wesley Withrow to
whom she was married to for 50 years, went to her Eternal Home in Heaven on
Tuesday, January 25, 2011. There she was greeted by her husband, her mother
and father Walter Clifton and Josie Lucille McLaughlin, her brother Bill
McLaughlin, and sister Patricia Beardslee, along with many friends and
relatives. Mary was born in Niles, Michigan on November 20, 1928. She and
her husband will be buried in Niles, Michigan. There will not be any
visitation, nor Memorial Service, as requested by Mary. Her prayer is that
all who survive her will accept Jesus Christ as their own Personal Savior:
because Jesus said "If you want to know the way to God, He (Jesus) is the
way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father (God) but by Him
(Jesus)." She is survived by three wonderful sons Joseph Patrick (Charlotte)
White, Jack Wesley Withrow, and Douglas William Withrow; grandchildren, Sean
Wesley White, Marcy Jo (Mike) (White) DeSanto, Sarina Alaine Withrow, Aaron
(Sissie) Harp, T.J. Kinder, Kate White, and Christopher William Withrow; six
great grandchildren Allie, Christian, and Nicholas DeSanto and Christian,
Ashton, and Aniston Harp; two sisters, Betty (Patrick) Neesley and Rosella
(Terry) Davis; and a special ex-daughter-in-law Becky Ann Withrow. She was a
member of Highlawn Baptist Church and was retired from the C & P Telephone
Company. Mary wanted to express her gratitude and love to all the wonderful
Saints of Highlawn Baptist Church, her Special Sisters in Christ Pat Walker,
Priscilla McCaffery, Cathy Wells, and Myra Lydick, who kept in touch with
her with visits, cards, and telephone calls. She wants to thank her Chinese
Sisters in Christ for their love and concern for her and she wanted to thank
all her neighbors and friends of Garden Farms for the many years of
friendship and caring. She has a special THANK YOU to Dr. Gerrit Kimmey, the
nurses in Oncology at HIMG, and all the office girls who made each treatment
of her cancer tolerable. She sings these songs to you. "Must I go, and
empty-handed? Thus to meet my Savior so. Not one soul with which to greet
him. Must I empty handed go?" "Come and go with me to my Father's House,
where there is peace and joy. There will be no sickness, nor pain. There
will be no more dying over there, and folks that is for an Eternity." SEE
YOU AT THE HOUSE! Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
