Susan Kay Bauer, 59, of Proctorville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 4, 2018 at her residence. She is the daughter of M. Wayne Bauer and the late Mary Elizabeth Spurlock Bauer. She is survived by her father, M. Wayne Bauer, of Proctorville, OH. In addition to her mother, Mary Elizabeth Spurlock Bauer, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Amy Elizabeth Bauer and her "baby girl" Muffin. She was born in Huntington, WV. She was retired from American Electric Power. She passed away from esophageal cancer. Thanks to a very special aunt, Janice Singer, cousins, Rick and Tammy Spurlock, best friend, Renee Dunfee Vaughn, Dr. Damian Silbermins, Dr. Ronald Brownfield, Dr. Timothy DeEulis and the nursing staff at HIMG Cancer Center. Funeral Services will be conducted at noon on Monday May 7, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday May 6, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary. Cousins will serve as pallbearers.
