Mack Dennis Stacy, 64 of Huntington, WV passed away Friday May 18,2018 at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane WV. Dennis, was born June 12, 1953 in Welch, WV. He was the son of the late Mack and Loberta "Birdie" Stacy, of Gilbert WV., also a preceding him in death was a grandson Wesley McGuffin, Huntington. Dennis, was a graduate of Gilbert High School, Gilbert WV and attended Marshall University. Dennis, was hired by the Cabell Co. Sheriffs Dept. in I974 and was in the first group of S.T.O.P. Officers (Paramedics) under the Ted Barr Administration. He also worked for APCO, Monterey Coal Co. Wayne WV, and retired from Clayton Homes, Grayson, Ky as a Sales Rep. Dennis, was an avid Fishermen and Hunter. He was his happiest when he was on the Lake, River or Pond. He loved being outdoors in the woods, which was his solitude and his Sanctuary. He. loved vacationing at Kelley's Island, Ohio and fishing at East Lynn Lake and hunting at' Hoot-N-Hollar." Surviving him a daughter Sarah N. Spurlock of Huntington, a son Michael D. Stacy of South Point, OH, his former wife Yvonne Stacy Sargent of Ona WV. Grandson's Will and Sam McGuffin of Huntington and Great Granddaughter Emily McGuffin, of Barboursville WV. A sister Debbie Albright of Atlanta GA. Two brothers Ray Stacy, of Seattle WA and Ronald Stacy of Wheeling WV. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Thanks to all of the nurses, doctors and personal at the various places he was admitted to for their care and compassion.
