Obituary


Larry E. Gebhardt 77, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born July 10, 1940 in Cabell County, a son of the late Henry L. and Mary W. Blanchard Gebhardt. He was a U S Air Force veteran, a retired shift foreman for Aristech (Novamont), and a member of the former Z Warner United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor John Savage officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Cabell County. Survivors include; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Chris Ryder of Lesage, Andrea F. and Ralph Auletta of Fullerton, CA; one son, Larry E. Gebhardt, Jr., of Huntington; one brother, Bill Gebhardt of Clearwater, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Ronald Berry of FL; grandchildren, Brooke Ryder(Dave Higginbotham), Casey Gebhardt, Hannah Bowyer (Michael) and Luke Ryder; great grandchild Caleb Black; the mother of his children, Patricia A. Gebhardt of Huntington. Friends may call 2 hours prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
