Obituary
Margaret May Drum, (94) born on March 14, 1924, crossed over to the other shore early on Tuesday morning 15 May 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Known by her family and close friends as "Marge", she was preceded in death by her late husband Richard Raymond Drum in 1999, her sister Alice Fox, brothers Allan and Clyde Eigenbrod, and her mother Alice and father Gustave Eigenbrod. Her son Richard Gustave Drum resides in Huntington, WV with his wife Deborah Lynn Drum. Grandchildren include grandson Richard Braderick Drum of Moseley, VA, and wife Becka and step-granddaughter Linsay Nicole Knopf of Roanoke, VA and husband Terry. Great grandchildren include Richard Alexander and Timothy Lucas Drum of Moseley, VA and step-great grandchildren Gunner Marshall, Casey Jordan, and Terry James Knopf. Family living in Pennsylvania include sister-in-law Mary and husband Donnie Eroh and children, brother-in-law Albert and wife Florence Drum and children, and sister-in-law Marion Hildebrand and children all residing in Mountain Top, PA. Marge was a devoted and much-loved school crossing guard for the Edison, NJ police for 28 years retiring at age 83. Special friends in NJ include Marin and Campbell McAlpine, Sue and John Vodarsik, and Jackie Visco all from Edison, NJ. Long-time family friend Mr. Eugene Berta resides in Rahway, NJ. Marge had numerous close friends including staff, nurses, aides and residents at the Midland Meadows Memory Care where she resided for the last two years. Marge was a Jehovah's Witness for many years and loved her God. A memorial service will be held for Marge in the Chapel at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 11:00am.
