Obituary



Donald Ray Watts, 83, of Huntington, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 5:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Colton O'Brien officiating. Don was born February 2, 1935 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Norman Watts and Virginia Louise Dickey Watts. He retired from the WV Employment Office, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, an avid artist having displayed some of his art in the Huntington Museum of Art. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lee Watts. Survivors include four daughters, Donna Lee Wintz and husband Tim of Lesage, WV, Martha Louise Torres and her significant other, Doug Vuillemot, and her children, Jimmy and Joey of Clawson, MI, Kathryn Ramley and husband Jeff and her daughter Morgan Midkiff of Munster, IN, Lydia Koch and husband Ted of Kennasaw, GA, grandson, Jake Spurlock and wife Carrie and great-grandsons, Tanner Cole and Tucker Ray Spurlock all of Milton, WV.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday May 6, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary.
