Obituary

Donald "Brent" Gray, 69, of Huntington passed away May 22 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Homer Gray, mother Billie Gray and nephew Justin Gray. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Priscilla; son Josh and grandson Josh, Jr.; brother Trent Gray; sister Tonya Damron; and his beloved beagle Hazel, who went everywhere with him. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Syble White; sisters-in-law, Saundra (Ruben) Adkins and Carolyn (Chris) Perkins; nieces Cilissa Stratton (Tim) and children Jake, Emily, and Lily; Trenta Kyle and children, Peyton and Caydence; nephews Kagen Gray, Chris Damron and children Rebecca and Nicole; great- niece Kinsley and great-nephew Landon, children of deceased Justin Gray as well as a host of friends too numerous to mention. Brent was a member of the IBEW #317 all his life where he worked as an electrician and Business Manager, of which he retired from in 2010. He was a master mason of Proctorville Lodge #550, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and a shriner. He loved the outdoors and the time he spent with his son Josh on the many hunting and fishing trips they made. A very special thank you to the staff and doctors at Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, and UPMC Shadyside for the quality and compassionate care they gave Brent. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 29 at 1:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
