Gladys Louise Spurlock Barbour, 90, of Huntington, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at her daughter's residence with whom she made her home. Funeral service will be conducted at noon Friday April 7, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Keith Leap officiating. Burial will be in Crook Cemetery. She was born April 16, 1926 to Algie and Loretta Adkins Spurlock Starks, in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond M. Barbour, one daughter, Linda Sue Barbour Wolfe, grandsons, Matthew Adkins and Justin Adkins all of Huntington, WV, and one brother, Ernest Spurlock of Chester, WV. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kay (Larry) Ferguson, Reva Jean Barbour, James (Kim) Barbour, Teresa Barbour Adkins and Gary (Kathy) Barbour all of Huntington, WV, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until noon on Friday at the funeral home.
