Obituary



Thelma Pieraccini, 95, of Lesage, WV, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Chateau Grove. She was born March 24, 1922 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late James and Ethel Ferris McComas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Pieraccini; two sisters, Irene Miller and Virginia Berry; and a brother, Hugh McComas. Thelma was a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Huntington City Mission Auxiliary. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Terry Wintz of Lesage and Lisa and Jon Goodman of Austell, GA; and a granddaughter, Jamie Sue Caldwell and her husband, Jerry of Lesage. The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau Grove for their loving care of Thelma. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Tracy Call officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
