Obituary



Emilie F. Lowe, 94, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Huntington Health and Rehab. She was born December 10, 1922 in Munich, Germany a daughter of the late Emil Nicholas and Christana Flessa Müller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Lowe; a son, Fritz Sherman Lowe; and two sisters. She formerly worked in the gift shop at St. Mary's Medical Center. Survivors include: two granddaughters, Tiffany Dawn Kendrick of Huntington and Kimberly Noel Martin of Barboursville, WV; three great grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Kendrick, Braxton Brantley Ferguson and Natasha Lynn Martin; a great great granddaughter, Delilah Dawn Martin-Spurlock; two nieces, Camilla Kossmann and Ursula Hartman, both of Bayreuth, Germany; a nephew, Roland Radtke of Bayreuth, Germany; and several special friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
