Obituary



Kathy Dee Wells, 62, of Huntington, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born 11-28-1954 in Huntington a daughter of Irma Crystalee "Chris" Chapman Skidmore of Huntington, with whom she lived to care for her, and the late John Daniel Skidmore. She was a former teacher in Washington State, was an avid reader, loved music and loved her current fashions. A hobby of hers was knitting and crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren for keepsakes. In addition to her mother survivors include her four daughters and husbands, Melissa Beth and Robert David McCloud of Huntington, Kristina Elizabeth and Jason Dieter of Kelso, WA., Rachel Kathleen and Raul Vaca of Lake Stevens, WA, and Denise Lynn Radcliff of Wenatchee, WA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jonathan L. and Stacie Ventura of Arlington, WA, and Loran Allen Wells of Seattle, WA; a brother, John Franklin Skidmore of Huntington; and 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A private family gathering will be held in Huntington and a memorial service will be held in Washington State at a later date.
