Obituary


Leota Kay Monday, 45, of Huntington, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born September 17, 1971 in Columbus, OH a daughter of the late Homer Jones and Margaret Sebers Jones Beeler. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Jones. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Jonathan M. Monday of Huntington; a son, Andrew Slayton, Jr. of Ceredo, WV; two daughters, Bethany Slayton and Lauren Jeeter, both of Huntington; a special friend, Billy Ferguson; a brother, Brian Jones of Barboursville; a sister, Sherri Jones of Huntington; and seven grandchildren. Per her wishes she will be cremated and no services are scheduled.
