Bobby Joe "B.J." Adkins, 79, of Wayne, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in Saint Mary's Medical. He was born August 7, 1938, in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Elige and Ella Adkins. He was a US Army veteran, and retired from Owens/Illinois as a pipefitter. Survivors include two sons, Jeff Adkins of Barboursville, and Jarrett Ray Adkins (Regina) of Huntington; one step-daughter, Lynn Ann Bevino (Felts) of SC; one step-son, Mark Bevino (Debbie), of Logan, WV; three grandchildren, Zach Adkins, Brandon Adkins and fiancée Brittany Abbott, and Aaron Adkins; two greatgrandchildren, Braelynn Adkins and Chesnie Adkins. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Marc Price officiating.
