Obituary



Richard Lewis Clagg, 82, of Huntington, husband of Edna Holley Clagg, died August 8, 2017 at home. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon, Monday, August 14, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Meadows Cemetery, Mason County, WV, with military graveside rites conducted by Veterans Honor Guard Post 16, Huntington, WV. He was born February 13, 1935, in Mason County, WV, a son of the late Samuel Lewis and Sarah Marie Chapman Clagg. Two sisters, Alma Jacobs and infant Catherine Clagg also preceded him in death. He was a US Army veteran and retired from Green-Acres Center as the maintenance director. Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter and son-in-law, Debora and Ken Lam of Huntington; one granddaughter and her husband, Miranda and Shelby Tucci of Starkville, MS; and two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Kate Tucci. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
