On August 17th at 7:30 pm, Todd Anthony Chapman entered into the eternal peace and love of Jesus Christ. Todd was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a passion for music and was an accomplished guitarist, bringing joy through his gift with bass guitar and acoustic guitar. He was a graduate of Barboursville High School in 1983 and attended Marshall University. Todd was a skilled certified scuba diver. He was a member of Oak Hill UBI Church. Todd was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Homer and Nancy Adkins Chapman and one child, Baby Chapman. He is survived by his mother, Janice "Twin" Chapman; God daughter, Lauren Chesne; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Oak Hill UBI Church with Pastor Jamie Jefferson and Pastor Helen Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, August 21, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, and after 11:00 am Tuesday at the church. A procession to the church will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
