Rose Mary Farley, 77, of Scottown, OH, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1939 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Thomas Thompson, Sr. and Nolda F. Pinson Thompson. Three brothers, Thomas F. Thompson, Jr, Earl "Diz" Thompson, and George A. Thompson, also preceded her in death. Survivors include: her husband, Larry R. Farley; four children Mark Farley of Wayne, WV, Mike (Kim) Farley of Huntington, Amy (Jim) Lister of Scottown, OH and Kelly Still of Geneva, AL; two step children, Kristen Rae (David) Schneidmiller of Pensacola, FL and Bradd Farley of Ona, WV; a sister, Loretta Barrett of Lexington, KY; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Greg Bowman officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
