Stephanie Renee Courts, 40, of Huntington, West Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from complications due to pneumonia. Stephanie was born in Huntington on January 24, 1977, a daughter to Terry and Gloria Courts. Our Stephanie was the most giving, loving, sweet person you could ever hope to meet. She devoted her life to helping others with physical and mental disabilities. Stephanie was employed with Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital and truly enjoyed her work, her co-workers and the patients she served. Stephanie was a lover of all animals and spoiled any who were lucky enough to come in to contact with her. Stephanie was a quick-witted, funny Irish Wannabe. Our hearts are broken. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her grieving parents, Stephanie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Laura and Wayne Calderon, nephews Samuel and Nicholas Calderon and niece Josephine Calderon. She is also survived by her fiancée Tiffany LeRae and a very special aunt Brenda Ferrell, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
