Obituary



Theodore Roosevelt "Ted" Bryan, Jr., 90, of Huntington, widower of Emogene Ann Knight Bryan, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 in Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, OH. He retired from the CandO Railroad as a pipe fitter/tinnier. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Rev. Larry D. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born January 2, 1927, in Cabell County, a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Bryan, Sr., and Mattie Rose Sowards Bryan. Survivors include two sons, Ted Bryan, III and wife Jewell, and Terry Gene Bryan all of Huntington; two grandchildren, Shawnna Raynes and Scott of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Cortney Bryan and Justin of Beckley, WV; two great-grandchildren Delaney and Ella Raynes; and one special sister-in-law, Frank Caldwell. The family would like to thank the staff of Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, OH, for their excellent care of Dad during his illness. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
