Gloria Frances Moncer, 95, of Huntington, widow of Oral E. Moncer, died Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1922 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Franklin Joseph and Blanche Elizabeth Thomas O'Lynn. Her daughter, Sharon James: three sisters, Reba Karnes, Ruth Popolizio, and Debra Trump; and three brothers, Robert O'Lynn, William O'Lynn, and Van O'Lynn also preceded her in death. She was a retired LPN having worked at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Orelaine Elkins (Jimmy) and Donna Moncer, both of Huntington; a son, Oral Moncer, Jr. (Patricia) of Lesage, WV; a sister, Blanche Elliotte of Proctorville, OH; 6 grandchildren, Rebecca DeHart (Rich), Deborah Lowman, Cynthia Allen (Jeff), Jimmy Elkins, Jr. (Mollie), Jane Elkins, and Casey Baugardner (Josh); 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, August 21, 2017 at the White Chapel Mausoleum with Rev. Richard Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit after 1:30 pm Monday at the cemetery.
