Gary Lee Fetty
(August 9, 1943 - April 18, 2011)



Gary Lee Fetty 67, of Huntington, died Monday, April 18, 2011, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with his dear friend and Pastor, Omar Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with military graveside rites conducted by Huntington VFW Post 1064 of which he was a member. He was born August 9, 1943, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Lloyd Lee and Audrey Wilkes Fetty. He was a US Army veteran, a KY Colonel, a member of American Legion Post 16, Huntington, and a crew supervisor for the WV Department of Highways. Survivors include his wife Joyce Maynard Fetty; one son Nicholas Matthew Fetty, both of Huntington; a stepson John Dee Maynard of Lesage; a grandson, Christopher Nicholas Fetty of Germany; two very special cousins, Eva Wilkes Hall and Vickie Wilkes Jackson both of Huntington; and many special friends and family members. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
