Michael David Wagoner
(May 27, 1948 - April 17, 2011)



Michael David Wagoner, 62, of Huntington, WV, formerly of South Point, OH, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born May 27, 1948 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Virgil and Vonda Smith Wagoner. He was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Matthew Wagoner and a brother, Gregory S. Wagoner. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal Wagoner and Bradley Henline of Huntington and Beverly and Doug Hatfield of Richmond, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, John David and Jessica Wagoner of Prestonsburg, KY; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rob O’Lynn officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH, with American Legion Post 16, Veterans Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday, at Chapman’s Mortuary.
