Lorilea Roten
(July 24, 1928 - April 1, 2011)


Lorilea Roten of Huntington, Wv joined her Lord and Savior Friday,April 1, 2011. Born July 24, 1928 to the Late Charles and Daisy Sowards, Lorilea was a proud Lifelong resident of Wv. Lorilea is proceed in death by her Husband Noah Roten, Daughter Carol Beckett, Grandson William Beckett Jr., Special Friend James Hatchett and Sisters Eloise Fillinger and Sharon Johnson. Lorilea is survived by sisters: Gladys Pack of Huntington, Helen Sowards, of Huntington, Anna Ruth Brabson, of Ohio, Emma McCoy of Lesage and Pat Johnson of Glenwood. Son in law Bill Beckett of Florida, grandchildren Lorilea Michelle and her Husband Richard Holland of Florida, and Noah and Lawanda Beckett of Florida. Many devoted friends, family, nieces and nephews, and extended family. A special thanks to neices and nephew Birdie Bailey,Carolyn Leadmon, Loretta, Joyce Ann and Freddy Fillinger. Last but not least Lorilea is survived by the three things dearest most precious to her heart. Her three great grand sons. Ricky, Dalton and Justin Holland. All of Florida. Lorilea devoted her life to being a wife, mother to Carol and the most loving devoted grandmother anyone could ever ask for. Lorilea is a member of American Legion and VFW Post 9738. Retired from Honaker Inc. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Leston Followay officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
