Harold E. "Hal" McCaleb II
(October 6, 1959 - April 1, 2011)



Harold E. “Hal” McCaleb II, 51, of Atlanta GA., formerly of Huntington, WV, died Friday April 1, 2011 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services 2:00 PM Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Bill DeMoss & Pastor J.R. Gullett officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Hal was born October 6, 1959 in Huntington, WV a son of Harold Eugene & Garnet Francis McCaleb. He graduated from Huntington East High School and the University of Cincinnati. He was an Architectural Interior Designer, a Methodist by faith & attended the former Seventh Avenue Methodist Church as a child. In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved precious dog, Spencer, special uncle Otis Francis of Ashland, KY, special aunts, Goldie Hodgens of Flatwoods, KY & Patricia Scarbrough of Russell, KY, uncles Mike Francis of Orlando, FL Aubrey Carlisle McCaleb of Huntington, two very dear friends Marilyn Berger of Atlanta, GA & Harry Thomas of Russell, KY. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday April 5, 2011. Flowers are appreciated but donations may be made to the Huntington Cabell, Wayne Animal Control Shelter 1901 James River Road, Huntington, WV 25704, or Little Victories Animal Shelter.
