Jaunita Kincaid
(March 22, 1929 - April 27, 2011)



Wednesday, we lost an unbelievable person in our Mother, Nanny, and Sister. I will forever remember the love and guidance she brought to everyone she touched throughout her life. Her suffering is over and she is in a better place forever looking over our family. Nanny I love you and will forever miss you. Jaunita Kincaid, 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away April, 27, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with the Rev. Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born March 22, 1929 in Huntington a daughter of the late Carl Preston and Maybelle Conrad Damron. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Kincaid, Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Porter and Norma Garretson. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Twentieth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and David Hall of Charleston, WV and Vickie Simmons Delp and Fred Delp of Barboursville, WV; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Carl and Janet Kincaid of Alpharetta, GA; five grandchildren,, Heath Preston Dailey and his wife Heidi, Shawn Phillip Simmons and his wife Piper, Robert Patrick Simmons, Jason Michael Kincaid, and Natalie Renee` Gwinn; four great grandchildren, Brittany Renee Burcham, Kayleigh Morgan Gwinn, James Brody Gwinn and Amelia Piper Simmons,; two sisters, Eva Powers of South Point, OH and Frances Flesher of Huntington; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and June Damron of South Point, OH, Laundle “Chuck” and Betty Damron of Florida, and Ernie and Arlene Damron of Huntington. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary.
