Ada Beatrice Harris
(October 12, 1928 - March 5, 2011)



Ada Beatrice Harris, 82, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday March 5, 2011 in Heritage Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2:30 PM Tuesday March 8, 2011 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park's Abby of Devotion with Dallas Moore officiating. Burial will follow. Ada was born October 12, 1928 in Wayne Co., WV a daughter of the late Garland & Norma Wellman Lockhart. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother for many years. Her husband James Franklin Harris preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter; Patricia Null of Barboursville, WV and a son David L. Harris of Grayson, KY, 5 grandchildren, Wendy (Patrick) McQuade, Matthew (Nickie) Null, James Franklin (Trish) Harris, Lindy Hoeft and Matt Wilks, 7 great grandchildren and one great great-grandson, along with several nieces & nephews. The family would like special thanks to go to Heritage Center 3rd floor staff. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1111 Lee Street, Charleston, WV 25301. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2:15 Tuesday going to the cemetery.
