Billy Jack Insco
(April 28, 1926 - March 18, 2011)



Billy Jack Insco, 84, of Huntington, WV, died Friday March 18, 2011 at Sunset Nursing Home, Coal Grove, OH. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Kevin Shull officiating. Burial will be in Crook Cemetery. Billy Jack was born April 28, 1926 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Charles ”Jake” & Virginia Faye Dick Insco. He was a retired Auto Body Mechanic and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran serving in WWII. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rose Elizabeth (Crook) Insco and the aunt & uncle who raised him, Lena (Insco) Fraley & Bascom “Bass” Fraley. Survivors include a son Billy Edward Insco & wife Ocieanna of Huntington, 4 grandchildren, Shelley Dawn Insco (John Apreda) of Ontario, Canada, Billie Nicole Insco (Dirk Shoemaker) of Huntington, Paul Allen Insco (Jennifer) of Charleston, WV, and Jonathan Michael Insco of Huntington, 6 great-grandchildren, Joshua & Lux Shoemaker, Nikolas, Austin, Connor & Brooklyn Insco, and a half sister Wanda Tenney (Albert) of Huntington. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday March 21, 2011.
