Kristi Miller Weant 48, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Dr. Allen Reasons officiating. Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born May 15, 1962, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Noel Miller of Middleport, Ohio, and Dottie Miller Gebhardt of Huntington. She was a homemaker, a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, and a Marshall University Alumnus. Her maternal grandparents Frank and Billie Shoemaker, her paternal grandparents, Leon and Ruth Miller and a cousin Tammy O’Neal also preceded her in death. Additional survivors include: her husband, David Weant; a son Dakota Weant both of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law Greg and Kathy Miller of Proctorville, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Janet Weant of Wadsworth, Ohio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Beverly Weant of Huntington; aunt and uncle, Bill and Nancy Shoemaker, aunt Patsy O’Neal; 6 cousins, Scott, Kai, Chessy, Roy, Brandon and Nicholas; two nieces, Ashley Miller and Anna Weant; three nephews, Chad Hale, Jonathan Miller and Tim Weant; four great-nieces, Jenna Miller, Haleigh Miller, Destiny Hale and Faith Hale. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
