Dorothy Marie Seay, 76, of Huntington, passed away Monday March 21, 2011 at Cornerstone Hospital. She was born April 27, 1934 in Huntington a daughter of the late Harold and Virginia Ferguson Burchfield. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Taylor. She was a homemaker, and a member of New Life Church. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie and Rickey Wood of Huntington and Coby Joy of South Point, OH; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Linda Seay of Taylorsville, NC, and Mark and Chris Seay of Huntington; two nieces, Sally Taylor and Barbara Gebhard; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Seay of Austin, TX, Michelle Reed of Huntington, Matthew Seay of Jamestown, NC, Melody Ray of Milton, Christopher Seay of Nashville, TN, Amy Seay Zimmerman of Burleson, TX, Cheri Seay of Huntington, Zane Joy of South Point, OH, Travis Seay of Nashville, TN, Devan Joy of South Point, and Chelsea Seay of Huntington; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Thursday March 24, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Darrell Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
