Larry Joe Conrad, 75, of Ona, WV, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Born January 31, 1943, in Cabell County, WV, he was the son of the late Leonard L. Conrad, Sr. and Ernestine Simpkins Conrad. His step-mother, who raised him Kathleen Conrad, one sister, Jean Ann Poffenberger, and one brother, Richard Lee Conrad also preceded him in death. He was the Owner/Operator of Conrad Produce, Inc. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elaine Sessanna Conrad; one daughter, Julie Ann Conrad of Charlotte, NC; one son and his fiancée, Larry Michael Conrad and Christine Anton of Milton, WV; one brother, business partner and "Best Friend", Leonard "Connie" Conrad, Jr. (Linda) of Chesapeake, OH; his precious granddaughters, Hannah Grace Conrad, Halley Ann Conrad and Hope Marie Conrad; his grand dog, Gabby Grey; and a host of other family and friends. Joe loved to spend time with his family and friends at their time share on Sanibel Island. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
