Obituary



Connie Sue Sprouse, 73, of South Point, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Connie was born on January 9, 1945 in Huntington, a daughter of the late John Rumbaugh (Bunny Rumbaugh) and Lillian Juanita Bias (Harold "PeeWee Bias). Connie graduated from Huntington East High School. She later went on to become a telecommunications manager for the US government, a secretary at Cabell Huntington Hospital as well as Marshall University. Connie enjoyed travelling, gardening, and watching the birds She immensely enjoyed spending time with her family and planning outings and activities for her grandchildren. Connie is survived by her husband, John Preston Sprouse; two daughters, Melanie (Rich) Donatt, and Kelly (Brian) Randolph; a step-daughter, Tammy Sprouse Shand; four grandchildren, Megan (Wade) Stansberry, Heather Donatt, Kristin Donatt, Zacahry (Michaela) Randolph; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Grant Stansberry; a sister-in-law, Paula Bias and her children, Amy Johnson and David Bias; and a niece and nephew, Tammy and Jeff McCallister. Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2:00 PM, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
