Connie Marie Seay Wood, 64, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1954 in Huntington a daughter of the late John Reed Seay and Dorothy Marie Birchfield Seay. She was a former office manager for IUOE Local #132. Survivors include: her husband, Rickey G. Wood; two daughters, Michelle M. Reed of Huntington and Melody A. Ray of Ona, WV; four grandchildren, Caleb A. Reed and Caitlyn M. Reed, both of Huntington and Hailey G. Ray and Hannah F. Ray, both of Ona, WV; a sister, Coby Joy of Grayson, KY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Chris Seay of Ceredo, WV and Todd and Linda Seay of Taylorsville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Phil Tomblin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
