Obituary



Raymond Edward Holley, 82, of Barboursville, WV passed away peacefully on December 17, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born in Huntington, WV on November 17, 1936. He retired from INCO after 31 years. He attended and was a member of the Walnut Hills Church of the Nazarene for 44 years. He was preceded in Heaven by his parents, Rufus and Gracie Holley and his sister, Ida Hartwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sharon Holley; his daughter, Kim Matheny (Keith David); his son, Mickey Holley (Jennifer); granddaughters, Marlo Matheny (Jesse) and Grace Hechesky (Josh); grandson, Aaron Holley (Kristin); mother-in-law, Geneva Embry; sister-in-law, Suzanne Stone (Jerry); and two nephews, David Hartwell (Kayla) and Gary Stone. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 11:00 am with Reverend Fred McCarty and Keith Matheny officiating. A burial service will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.
