Cabell County has a rich history since its founding. The city of Huntington is its biggest jewel. Some of us have seen many businesses flourish over the many years. First  rising and then declining as time marches on.  With the help of the local newspaper and  James E Casto’s publications in that paper, Cabell County Doors to the Past  will endeavor to share a few with you. Many genealogists have had family that may have worked at one of these businesses. “Old Timers” will recall several of them. Rumor is that Mr. Casto may in the future publish a more complete volume of articles on this subject.  The genealogical community applauds your efforts.
